Portfolio Officers
Our portfolio officers are experienced individuals appointed from within the Mitsui Group and are responsible for a wide range of strategic and value creation initiatives of their assigned portfolio company. They are typically based within Mitsui's portfolio companies as a full time resource in order to help their management drive strategies that benefit the growth of these companies.

Abilio Yamane
AVP of Operations, IHH Healthcare Berhad

Abilio began his career at Mitsubishi UFJ Morgan Stanley Securities in Japan where he managed global equity transactions. After joining healthcare division at Mitsui & Co., he conducted multiple investments in the Asian healthcare market and executed operations initiatives while working at Columbia Asia Hospital. Currently Abilio is responsible for operational improvements at IHH. He holds a MBA from IESE Business School.

Asako Mihara
AVP of Group Data Strategy, IHH Healthcare Berhad

Asako was a Deputy General Manager at Mitsui’s Healthcare division where she worked on various business development and investment projects in the healthcare domain. Presently, at IHH, she is working on Data strategy and initiatives for the group. She holds a Bachelor of Liberal Arts in International Relations from The University of Tokyo.

Shinjiro Miya

Before joining IHH, Shinjiro was Deputy General Manager in Mitsui’s Healthcare Division where he completed the 2018 additional share acquisition in IHH Healthcare Berhad. He also previously worked for Mitsui’s Energy Business Unit to manage investments and commercial deals for oil & gas projects in Russia and Australia. Currently he is responsible for the laboratory business strategy at IHH. He holds a Bachelor of Law from Hiroshima University.
