Assistant VP / Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Data & Innovation Division

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic individual to join us in driving our sales & marketing plans for healthcare solutions across Asia and USA.

 

Reports to: Head of Business Development

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Develop and execute the business plan(s) and business model(s) for the Sales & Marketing Division and its subsidiaries

2. Lead the global strategy and business development of the division and its subsidiaries with a goal to:

  • Build a strong client pipeline of hospitals and clinics

  • Establish revenue lines and corresponding business models

3. Assist in managing the P&L, including sales, business development and partnerships for all business segments

4. Manage and lead the team to identify gaps, recruitment, and suggest the strategy to build resources and capabilities

5. Contribute to creating an environment that will fulfill the company’s vision and objectives

6. Support the Manage management of the shareholders and Board of Directors of the business and joint venture company

7. Drive partnership success, overall key account management lead to clients (North America and Asia)

8. Spearhead branding and reputation building initiatives

9. Drive / develop ancillary areas such as:

  • Client education

  • Client project execution standards

  • New service lines and new revenue streams

  • Co-innovation initiatives

  • Sourcing and recommendation of complementary solutions companies for M&A or partnership

  • Sourcing and recommendation of new data sources

10. Administration: Provide strategic and project progress reports in Japanese language to the headquarters located in Japan.

 

Skills, experience, and qualifications

  • Strong entrepreneurial spirit, interpersonal skills, and positive attitude

  • Excellent collaborator and team player

  • Strategic leadership experience

  • Ability to drive startup objectives whilst navigating a Japanese trading company corporate culture

  • Ability to influence and educate key stakeholders on new business plans and new ideas

  • Adaptable to industry changes and shareholder expectations

  • Good understanding of the mechanics and business of big data commercialisation

  • Good understanding of legal and regulatory implications on technology and data privacy

  • Good understanding of healthcare organization touch points, clinical pathways, and operational paint points

  • Over 10 years of experience in the healthcare and/or life sciences industry, with in-depth understanding of healthcare providers’ operation and big data commercialization opportunities

  • Excellent proficiency in written and spoken English and fluency in Japanese language

  • Track record in revenue management, sales and business development in healthcare and life sciences
